Kenneth L. Livengood



 

Kenneth L. Livengood, 49, of Goshen, Indiana, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Goshen. 

Born June 16, 1954, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was a son of Willard and Alvina (Miller) Livengood, Springs, Pa. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gale (Stockslager) Livengood, whom he married July 14, 1973; one son, Cory and one daughter, Hannah, both of Goshen; and one brother, Terry and wife, Sharon, Springs, Pa. 

Mr. Livengood first pastored at White Stone Mennonite Church, Hesston, Kansas and currently was pastor at Bonneyville Mennonite Church for 10 years. He was chaplain of Elkhart General Community Hospice; Middlebury and Bristol Ministerial Association; Active in Indiana-Michigan Conference; National Storytellers Association; Graduated in 1972 from Salisbury High School, Salisbury, PA; Received an AA degree from the Pastoral Ministry Program, Hesston College and a BS degree in Organizational Management from Goshen College. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at Bonneyville Mennonite Church, Bristol, IN. Friends will be received at the Springs Mennonite Church, Springs, Pa., on Monday, July 21, 2003, 9-11 a.m. Service will be conducted in Springs Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Alan Kauffman and the Rev. Steve Heatwole officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St, Grantsville, Md. is in charge of arrangements.
