Joyce Ann Hollada


Joyce Ann Hollada, 44, of Salisbury, died Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Meyersdale Medical Center. 

Born August 8, 1959, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Murray) Bittinger. Also preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence, of Latrobe and one sister, Freda Schrock, of Pittsburgh. 

Survived by her husband of 25 years, Kenneth Hollada; one son, Jay and wife, Tracy; Salisbury; three daughters, Christine and Ricky Leydig, Salisbury; Natasha and husband, Jason Shanholtz, Boynton, Pa.; Nicole and husband, Bryant Laidig, Salisbury; four grandchildren, Alexander Sell, Samantha and Daniel Leydig and Zachary Laidig; three brothers, Raymond and wife, Joan, Iowa; Elwood and wife, Darlene; Paul and wife, Linda, all of Salisbury; one sister, Margaret Baker, Boynton; 17 nephews, 16 nieces, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. 

Member of Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale, employed in service personnel at Fechheimer Shirt Factory, Grantsville, Md.; graduated October 29, 2003, as a CNA from Garrett College, McHenry, Md. 

Friends will be received Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy, Salisbury, Pa., where services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Swindell officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in care of the family.
